  • A single trafic fare with the modern system (MOBIB, proximity cards) costs 1.60 euro, valid for connecting buses or trams, needs to be validated.
  • One ticket (JUMP Single journey, old system) to the Observatory will cost 1.80 (outside the tram/bus) or 2.00 (inside) euros. However if you plan to use the bus/tram during several days, it might be interesting to buy a JUMP/10 journeys ticket: Click here

From the hotels in the area

Bus 60 travels passed the observatory and stops both at the main gate and at the "Mercure" stop close to the south entrance.

Tram 92 travels south of the observatory but is replaced by a bus temporarily and you need to switch halfway.

From the "Midi Station" (Brussel zuid/Bruxelles midi)

Follow signs for metro/tram to underneat the railway station, take tram 4 direction "Stalle". Get off at "Helden - Heroes" and walk to the bus stop for bus 43 on the opposite side of the square (close to a park). Take the bus 43 to it's end stop and get off at the "Sterrenwacht-Observatoire" stop, just in front of the observatory.
