Planetary Science

The operational direction has a long history of research in geodesy, in particular in the astronomical and geophysical causes of rotation variations of the Earth. Additionally to the planet Earth, we have extended our research in geodesy and geophysics to the other terrestrial planets Mars, Venus, and Mercury, and to the moons of the solar system planets. The operational direction is involved in current and upcoming planetary missions and actively contributes to the development of new missions.
